He was a corporate/commercial partner in Wragge& Co LLP ( now Gowling WLG) for 27 years and in that time was a key figure in building practices in venture capital, energy infrastructure projects, logistics, outsourcing, defence and finally in health.

He now has a portfolio of non-executive directorships and is often on the client side at beauty parades; a poacher turned gamekeeper!
